Pál-völgyi-barlang

The Monday afternoon destination for the group was the Pál-völgyi-barlang in the elegant quarter of Budapest - and more specifically, in Buda. With Adventure Caving, the group toured the unfinished section of the Mátyás Mountain Cave in Pál Valley (The Matthias Mountain Cave in the Paul valley) which part of the Pál Valley Cave System, a multi-story natural labyrinth system.

The students were divided into two groups, each led by an experienced guide. While deep within the earth, the groups experienced such things as "complete darkness" and squeezing through spaces that were not imaginable. Both groups emerged from the cave enthusiastic, energize, proud and a bit "dusty" from crawling through the caves.
